okay, today is 1/1/11....they say this wont come around for a thousand years, obviously i wont be around to see it.
i am going to try and do this blog thing this year, we will see how well i do. it seems fun and it is always fun to look back at your life and what you have accomplished, survived, etc. today steve and i took a trip to the vernal pool in murrieta, ca. (not in georgia unfortunately cause then i would be with steph, t, owen and quinn too). it was a nice day here, cool weather but nice. we walked to the pool but the boardwalk was closed, i guess with all the rain we have gotten it was destroyed so we couldnt look for the fairy shrimp, frogs, razorsnakes, etc.
steve got a gift card to fish house vera cruz so we went there for dinner.....first time they didnt have monkfish but got scallops instead. steve got some redfish...whatever that is. we also got his smoked fish and crab salad to bring home. we stopped at some target stores so i could get some gift cards to add to my silly collection. ended up getting about 150 of them. some really good ones! we had a nice day, but then i could be anywhere with my honey and have a nice day.
